Frogs
We have these frogsin our back yard that keep multiplying. I think they are there because we are going to be moving and our pool has water in it but we haven’t opened it yet so it is like dirty nasty pond water, so i think we have like a clan of frogs living in it. so these frogs have like a colony back there and every night when I’m trying to fall asleep all i can hear is that annoying croaking noisethat they make. I would describe it to you but you probably already knows what it sounds like and i cant really type it on the computer seeing as how it isn’t a word and i wouldn’t even know where to start.
They are evil…
Anyways…if anyone wants one we only have about 100 of them and pretty soon i think that they are going to start invading our house.
Fixed It.
I got my car fixed!!! I’m so excited not i can drive somewhere without sweating to death. Only 6 fuses and one brand new 100 dollar fan later and my car is in good running condition. it is amazing how something can be so expensive just to get the sir conditioning to work. But with my luck it will be broken in a week or so.
It’s so HOT!!!
WELL i decided that our school is stupid because you cant expect people to follow the dress code when it is eight million degrees in the school and we don’t have any air conditioning. every day i get yelled at for my shirts but it isn’t even like I’m wearing spaghetti straps they are at least two finger width and honestly what it the big deal about showing your shoulder anyways?
Ok so about it heat i am extremely tired of it because it isn’t supposed to be like this already and the humidity is killing my hair. Also, I’m really mad because the air conditioning broke in my car and I have to pay $100 to but a new fan so that willy can put it in. It really sucks having to have your windows down during this heat because first of all it doesn’t do anything because of the humidity, all it does it blow hot air on you. When Anna and i went take our SAT’s on Saturday we were dieing and sweating the whole way home. I seriously thought that i was going to have a heat stroke.
Bon’s Ice Cream
so i started workingat Bon’s again about 3 weeks ago. It has been crazy busy since i started except for the first week i was there. The first week it seemed like every time i worked it would start to rain or be really cold outside. But it never fazes people because although it wasn’t lines out to the parking lot busy people were still showing up. Why would you want ice creamwhen it is pouring rain and 60 degrees outside? Anyways…so I’ve been working a lot and trying to make money because i desperately need it and its been going good so everyone should come and visit me over the summer!!!
Florida ‘08
So last week i went to florida with my parents, sister, and willy. It was so much fun even though i had to make up tons of homework. Anyways, so we stayed at Westgate Lakes Resortwhich was absolutelyamazing because it was like a bunch of apartment building and each room hada master bedroom, two bathrooms, kitchen, living room, and a bedroom with 2 queen size beds. Well after we checked in we went and swam by the pool i have so good pictures of willy and my sister….
Ok so after hours at the pool we went to Daytona Beach….well we didn’t quite make it there because my dad saw the Daytona Speedway and decided that we should stop there. So we went and took a tour of the whole place and went into victory lane and then my dad rode in the race car for a mear 140 dollars but he said it was priceless because it was a once in a life time experience. Shortly after he said that he would do it again next year. OK so after about 3 hours at the race track we finally made it to the beach where we only stayed for about an hour then drove and hour back to the hotel to swim in the pool. Why you ask would you would want to swim in the pool when we were at the ocean? I have no idea . But anyways i wasn’t the planner so i just went with the flow. The next day we went to Busch Gardens which i must say was pretty cool. They have a roller coaster called the SheiKra which has 2, 90 degree drops. I was freaking out. They had every animal you could think of there and i got to feed a bird that landed on my hand. Ohh and i even got a picture of a hippo’s butt for you guys…
I would definitely recommend going to Busch Gardens next time your in Florida. They had some pretty cool stuff.
I also went to Old town where they have the worlds largest sky coaster (I’ve been on the one at the Great Escape 3 times but this one was soo much better). You could see the entire city all lit up because willy and i rode it at night time, it was so pretty. It is probably one of the scariest and exhilarating things I’ve ever done in my life.
The rest of my vacation i spent at the pool and trying to get a tan, which didn’t work. But its OK because overall the trip was really fun.
PROM
Ok so lets talk about prom. Umm ill tell you how my day went. First, i woke up at 8:00 to shower and what not and then i went to anna’s house to pick her up, where we then went to MCDonald’s for some breakfast and then headed off to the mall to get our hair and nails done. Once we got there we went to the nail place across from Deb’s and got our nails done. It was actually pretty funny because anna had never gotten her nails done before and she started freaking out a little bit and then the chinese guy told me that my hands were too cold because i always have cold hands and made me hold them under a light the whole time so that they would warm up. Anyways while we were there we saw Jamie Bricino and Bianca Bramen who were also getting there nails done. Ok so after that anna and i went to Regis to get our hair done where we then met up with Meghan who had an appointment right after me. if you ever need to get your hair done go to Dawn at Regis she did an awesome job on mine and Meghan’s. But anyways back on track, so after that i went to Bonton to get my make up done at the clinique booth. they didnt charge anything, but i bought a couple of things so it was worth it. After i came home, i got into my dress and willy came over to take pictures. Then we headed off to tylers to meet the limo and take pictures there. Everyone looked so good it was awesome. So we rode around in the limo after we went to mill park to take more pictures and then went to the school for prom preview. That was fun because everyone got to show off their dresses and after all that planning it was nice to just relax and take it all in. kevin and kaleigh won prom king and queen which probably everyone knows already but i thought i would stick that in there. Ummm…..after prom preview we went to the actual prom and danced and ate and had an amazing time. it was everything i expected and more but i just wished it could have lasted longer.
Pre-Prom Stuff
Ok so the week of prom was completely crazy!!! It was so much work but in the end it all paid off. I was seriously at the school until 5:00 then i had to come home and do homework which meant that i had no down time to do what i wanted to do, except for sleep. Then it was get up the next day and do the same thing all over again. At first i didnt think that we were going to get it all finished but we did and i thought the stage this year (in my personal opinion) look awesome and everyone on prom committee did an amazing job. It felt kind of good to work witha bunch of people and accomplish something that we were going to remember forever. But anyways im still recovering so ill get back to ya.
Birthday
Ok so the next Saturday (april 19th) was my 17th birthday. It was also my dad’s 43rd birthday(if you didn’t get it we’re born on the same day). My sisters birthday is on april 16th so i dont really get to have my own birthday with my dads on the same day and my sisters so close but it’s ok because its kind of fun to have your dad’s birthday on same day as yours.
Lets see, for presents my parents gave me $50 and a new car, my family gave me money, my boyfriend got me a bunch of clothes and took me out for dinner because my parents were out of town for a wedding so i didnt get to celebrate it with my parents but it was fun. Ohhh also Anna got me a really really cute key chain from coach. here is a picture. isn’t it cute!!! I thinki made out pretty good.
So that was my birthday.

Ummm sorry i haven’t written in a really long time because i’ve been extremely busy but I’m going to try to be better about keeping up with these things. Ummm…..lets backtrack a little bit. so i took my road test on april 17th in glens falls. I was so nervous once i got there but my dad took me parallelparking before i took my test because the day before that i tried it with my car and lets just say it didn’t turn out so good. But anyways my road test instructor was really nice and he gave me chances to fix things like i forgot to put on my blinker when i pulled away and he just asked me what i did wrong and when i told him he didnt mark me off for any points. when i finished i was really nervous because he didnt tell me if i passed or not he just handed me my temporary license and i was so excited. I passed the first time!!! yah…
